Talent Loss OR Brain Drain?

It's been almost 5 months since my first post on this topic. At the moment I'm struggling to get as many respondents as possible to answer my online questionnaires. Therefore if you are Malaysians who work in foreign countries in construction sectors, please do participate in my survey. It only takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated :)

Having completed my questionnaires, now I have to focus on my literature review. That's the hardest part since writing is not my cup of tea. Therefore I have to practice more and one way of doing it is by writing more in this blog...at least. I'm in a dilemma actually...whether to stick to my early title which is Talent Loss or to use a more common term, that is Brain Drain. So what say you?

Talent loss???

I've come to know this term in December 2010. Prior to that I've only understood it literally and nothing so much to relate it to Malaysia Economic Transformation Plan (ETP) or even to relate to the country's vision of becoming a developed nation. But things changed when I've decided to 'get away' from work and to further my study. Without any clue of what topic I'm going to do, I simply accepted the topic suggested to me by my soon-to-be supervisor. The reason being, the last day of submitting scholarship application was only 2 days away! Well experience has proved that I'm the type who work under pressure....

Cutting the story short, after 2 months becoming a student again, I've managed to come up with my own article in a local newspaper within 2 days! Honestly, I'm not the type who like to write but as I said earlier, I must be forced to do it......

However as much as I don't want to say it.....I'm still "lost" in searching of the truth about Talent Loss :)
